National Expertise in Workforce and Economic Development

The consulting team of Avalanche Consulting, Inc. and the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning are assisting the WKWIB and PADD with facilitating the project.  Both firms have extensive national experience.

Avalanche Consulting specializes in economic research, target cluster analysis, and workforce and economic development strategies.  Based in Austin, Texas, the firm's principals have a combined 30+ years of experience crafting plans for communities across North America and Europe.  Past clients include Upstate South Carolina; Team Texas; Metro Orlando; Greater Helena, Montana; Greater Houston; Northwest North Carolina; Coahuila, Mexico; and CzechInvest, to name a few.

The Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) is a national non-profit organization which creates and manages effective learning strategies for working adults through partnerships with employers, higher education, the public sector, and labor.  CAEL works to remove organizational barriers to learning, identifies effective practices, and delivers value-added services.
